Solana at BitStarz: 'instantly' appears twice and answers different questions

Does BitStarz take Solana?

Yes. The payments page says that it accepts the following currencies, and the list includes Solana. The deposit table has a row for Solana with a fee of 0%, processing time Instantly and a limit per transaction of at least 0.05 SOL. The withdrawal table has a Solana row with a fee of 0% and processing time Instantly as well, but its limits are written in euros, a minimum of 50 and a maximum of 50,000, and not in SOL. The page carries no date.

The network, and a field called confirmations

The visible text does not name a network. A machine-readable currency catalogue embedded in the same page gives SOL the network name Solana, a link to Solana's block explorer, and a field called confirmations with the value 1.

The page never explains the field. We read it as the setting the cashier uses before it credits a deposit, but that is our reading and not a promise from the operator. If it is right, the cashier waits for one confirmation, and on a chain whose blocks arrive every 400 to 600 milliseconds that is a short step.

What instantly can and cannot cover

In the deposit table the word sits beside a transfer that has to be confirmed first, so it describes the cashier's reaction to a confirmed transfer. In the withdrawal table it describes the processing of the method. Neither says anything about the checks an operator may run before releasing money, and the page is silent on them, so a method row that says Instantly is a statement about the method and not a guarantee about every payout.
