Read against two help articles
Solana at Vave: SOL is not confirmed, and USDT on Solana is a different line
Vave's help centre uses the word Solana, which makes it easy to read the page as saying that Vave takes Solana. It does not say that. This page draws the line, because two different assets are involved and only one is mentioned.
What the accepted-coins list says
The article on which cryptocurrencies are accepted, marked as updated in 2023, has a one-line body: BTC, ETH, BCH, DOGE, USDT with ERC20, TRC20 and Solana in brackets, LTC, TRX, XRP, EUR and USD. SOL does not appear as a coin. The word Solana appears once, inside the brackets, as one of three networks for USDT.
The article has no wording such as only or the following, so an absent coin is not a refused coin. We write not confirmed, and we write it in neither direction.
USDT on the Solana network is not SOL
A dollar token that travels over Solana is an SPL token: a separate asset with its own balance, kept in a token account, and shown as a separate line in a cashier. The minimum-deposit table, updated in September 2023, lists USDT on Solana at 3, USDT on TRC20 at 5 and USDT on ERC20 at a little under 20. Those are amounts of USDT. The table has no row for SOL.
Pages from 2023 are old for a cashier, and the figures are given only to show the shape of the answer. The deposit screen decides.
What speed has to do with it
Nothing in either article speaks about waiting times, so none is claimed. The honest conclusion for a reader holding SOL is to find out from the cashier whether the coin is taken before sending anything, because a transfer that went to the wrong place is not helped by the network being quick.

Quick answers
Does Vave accept Solana?
Not confirmed. Its list names USDT on the Solana network but not SOL itself, and it does not say the list is exhaustive, so we do not say it is refused either.
Is USDT on Solana the same as SOL?
No. It is a token that moves over the Solana network, a different asset from the SOL coin, shown as a separate line in the cashier.
